Nature of Things returns with an expanded collection, enhanced formulas, and a renewed brand identity. Our relaunch reflects a commitment to offering a broader range of high-performance products rooted in natural origin and plant-based innovation.

All of our products prioritize our non-toxic standards with vegan, cruelty free, sulfate free, paraben free, and phthalate free formulations. Our team develops all products by prioritizing plant based and natural origin percentages. We follow category leading retailer standards to meet various clean guidelines.  

We conduct three levels of natural origin review - provided in partnership with our ingredient suppliers and in accordance with regulatory and industry guidelines. We study the bio-based make up of every product with a third party lab, to identify the carbon nature of each formulation. This creates our plant based percentage. 

Our formulas are intended to be gentle and are made with our clean, non-toxic ingredient standards in mind. However, because every body is different, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before using any new products during pregnancy or on children.

Our formulas are thoughtfully created with sensitive skin in mind. However, if you have concerns we recommend opting for our fragrance free products, or consulting with your dermatologist.

We recommend storing your Nature of Things products in a cool place, such as in a bathroom or vanity cabinets.

We aim to develop efficacious formulas with our purity standards in mind.  Every ingredient we select is assessed not only for performance, but also for safety and natural origin. Our commitment is to offer informed formulation and transparent standards. We include only those ingredients that meet our criteria for effective, natural origin, plant-based, non-toxic, and safe. We do not use ingredients tested on animals or derived from them. 

Our formulas are created through the lens of natural origin.  We conduct three levels of natural origin review - provided in partnership with our ingredient suppliers and in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Some of our formulas include both natural origin and safe synthetic ingredients, we prioritize choosing ingredients that will perform. By sharing the specific percentage breakdown for each formula, we aim to be as transparent as possible about what each formula is made of.  See below for more information about natural origin and synthetic fragrance considerations.

All of our packaging is PCR and Recyclable. Each product’s PCR percentage is communicated on product pages.  Check your local recyclability locator to ensure packaging is recyclable in your area.  The packaging is built from a range of sustainable materials. Nature of Things products do not require secondary packaging, creating a lighter environmental footprint.

Nature of Things does not currently offer refills, but we hope to include them in our product assortment in the future.  

You may return unused or gently used products in original packaging within 14 days of delivery date for a full refund. To start your return, please email hello@natureofthings.com with your order details. All International orders are final sale and are not eligible for return at this time.

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and order weight.  

We currently ship to all 50 states in the United States, US Territories, and APO/FPO. We also ship to Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and select European countries (Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain & Sweden).

International shipping is currently available to Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and select European countries (Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain & Sweden).  

Shipping rates for international orders will be calculated at checkout. 

We ship all our international orders with Passport, our trusted third-party international shipping carrier. Passport has a number of shipping partners around the world that handle your local delivery and ensure your package arrives safely and quickly.

For any orders, once your order has been placed, you will receive an email from us with your tracking information. You can also track your order through the Shop Application.

If your package stops moving at any point, do not fret! It is still on its way to you and is likely just clearing customs. Occasionally, there may be delays due to customs or weather events.
