On May 2019, photographer Jean Pierrot made the journey to French Polynesia with one of his muses, a Slovenian multimedia artist and documentary filmmaker named Lucija. Over a period of several days, they traversed deserted motus to untamed, verdant jungles and mountain spring-fed rivers in order to capture the spirit of natureofthings through his unique lens. The resulting images and short videos, which celebrate a oneness with nature and the sentiment of being comfortable in one’s own skin, were captured exclusively on film.
